Free event at the Old Course Hotel: Protect your business from the threat of terrorism

With the prospect of the British Open coming to St Andrews in 2010, Fife Council and Fife Constabulary are hosting a free joint event aimed at the Hospitality industry, on 24th November 2009 at the Old Course  Hotel, St Andrews  to assist businesses in preventing, handling and recovering from a terrorist attack.

This event, branded Project ARGUS, is part of a National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO) initiative and will involve taking businesses in the Hotel, Restaurant and Licenced Trade through a multi-media simulated terrorist attack.

Whether you are a national chain or a small business, this simulation will provide you with a unique opportunity to both learn from and contribute to valuable lessons in helping to protect your business, your customers and your assets.

The whole event including a coffee break will run from 9-12.30pm and will be followed by a buffet lunch.

To reserve your place at this event, please e-mail dorothy.smith@fife.gov.uk or call on 08451 55 55 55 ext 492175.
